(BCOM) in 1996 with a first class honours degree in osteopathic
medicine. The training involved four years full time education.

central London W1. She also lectures at the British College of Osteopathic
Medicine teaching first and second year osteopathic students.

Whilst Barbara was studying for her degree she was introduced to
Pilates and has worked alongside Alan Herdman who introduced Pilates
to the UK in 1970. It is at his studio Barbara runs her London clinic.
As
well as an interest in sports injuries, Barbara has also worked
with musicians, particularly violinists and flutists who often suffer
shoulder, neck and upper back pain.
Work with animals
Following graduation Barbara studied equine and canine osteopathy.
