Olympic Games 2012

For the first time since the Olympics began osteopaths were included in the host nation medical team working alongside sports medicine specialists, to assist with the support and treatment of competing athletes.

Barbara said,

" I was proud to be part of the London 2012 Olympics host nation medical team. To be one of the 23 osteopaths selected was a great honour. This was a unique opportunity for osteopaths to be part of the games and to promote our expertise.  Our recognition has been raised to a new level."
